How it works

From your terminal to your TikTok inbox.

One command sends three slides. TikTok's notification arrives, you open the draft, add a sound and post it.

Sent 3 photos to @yourbrand's TikTok inbox as a draft (publish_id v_pub_…). TikTok downloads them in a few seconds, then sends a notification: open it in the TikTok app to add a sound and publish.

How do I start?

Make a key in Superpills, try one request, then use the API or the command line. It takes a few minutes.

In Superpills, open Settings › Developers and click Create API key. It's shown once: Superpills keeps only a fingerprint of it.

Which endpoints are there?

8, under https://superpills.app/api/v1/, one for each tool your AI gets. Every request carries your key as "Authorization: Bearer spk_…", and every answer is JSON.

Endpoints

GET /channels	Your brands and their connected accounts.
GET /views?days=7&channel=@handle	New views per day and per account, up to 365 days back.
GET /top-posts?days=30&limit=10	The posts with the most views.
POST /tiktok-drafts	Sends 1 to 35 photos to a TikTok inbox as a draft.
GET /draft-status?channel=@handle&publish_id=…	Whether a draft reached TikTok.
POST /schedule	Schedules text, photos or one video on up to 30 accounts. It waits for your OK.
GET /posts?days=30	What's scheduled, and how the last 7 days' posts went.
POST /cancel-post	Deletes a post that hasn't gone out.

What does a request look like?

How do I use the command line?

Download it, log in with your key, and ask. The key is saved in your home folder, or read from SUPERPILLS_API_KEY. Add --json to any command for the raw answer.

What does the API answer when something's wrong?

JSON with an "error" that says what to fix, and one of these codes.

Errors

400	Something in the request is wrong, like a missing field or too many photos.
401	The key is missing, wrong or replaced.
402	Your plan or trial ended.
404	There's no endpoint with that name.
405	Wrong method: use GET or POST as the list says.

API or MCP: which one should I use?

Use MCP when an AI does the work: Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor add one address and sign in. Use the API when your own code does: a script, a scheduled job, n8n or Make. Both run the same tools with the same limits.

Questions

Does the API cost extra?

No. It comes with Pro ($19 a month) and Max ($49), and works during the 7-day trial.

Do posts I schedule through the API go out on their own?

No. Like the ones your AI schedules, they wait for your OK in the Superpills calendar. TikTok photos and videos land in the inbox as drafts.

Can I build an app that posts for other people?

Not yet. A key reaches only your own brands and accounts.

What if my key leaks?

Replace it in Settings › Developers. The old one stops working right away.

Can I use it from n8n, Make or Zapier?

Yes. Any tool that can send an HTTP request with a header works: add your key as "Authorization: Bearer spk_…".
